TRAINING

The Brandwood Centre has successfully secured continuation funding from the Big Lottery Fund to enable us to deliver our Train-to-Gain programme offering back to work training, accredited courses, drop-in sessions and work experience for long-term unemployed/inactive and single parents.  By providing these services we aim to raise confidence, skills and knowledge and increase employability prospects.

If you are a single parent, or unemployed, take a look at what’s on offer below. You never know where it could take you!

Whilst the Centre remains closed, to protect both our staff and customers, we are still able to offer a selection of online courses and remote CV support to those who are single parents and/or unemployed/inactive.  Please see below for more details

Level 2 Mental Health First Aid

Tuesday 14th July 9.00am - 4.30pm (via Zoom)

Level 1 Introductory Certificate in Food Safety for Catering

Friday 10th July 10.00am - 2.00pm (via Zoom)

Level 1 Introductory Certificate in Health and Safety at Work

Friday 17th July 10.00am - 2.00pm (via Zoom)

Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work*

Friday 31st – July 10.00am - 1.30pm (via Zoom)
*this course will require a follow-up practical session in August, date yet TBC
