This one-day course is designed for anyone looking to gain employment in any industry sector, covering emergency first aid, enabling you to act as a first aider in the workplace.

Level 2 Understanding Mental Health in the Workplace (9:30am – 4:30pm)

Did you know that 1 in 4 people in the UK are likely to experience mental health problems each year? Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet whilst we know how to take care of our own physical health, many people do not know how to support friends, relatives or even colleagues who are experiencing poor mental health.

Level 2 Occupational Health and Safety (9:30am – 4:30pm)

Designed to be used as a refresher or as training for individuals looking to work in a variety of sectors. This course will ensure that all employees are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers, contractors, and the public. Employers are responsible for providing safe and healthy workplace conditions as well as the right systems and methods for safe activities. Nevertheless, employees also have a vital part to play in the equation. They need the right knowledge and the right attitude which demands proper training in the basics of health and safety, as well as specific training for individual tasks.

Level 2 Safeguarding Children, Young People & Adults at Risk (9:30am – 4:30pm)

This introduction to safeguarding course will provide you with a foundation in safeguarding knowledge, helping you to feel more confident in recognising the signs of abuse and knowing how to report your concerns. This training is a must for anyone who has regular contact with children/young people and/or vulnerable adults.

Level 2 Foundation Certificate Food Safety for Catering (9:30am – 4:30pm)

EU and UK regulations state that all food handlers must receive appropriate training in food safety practices relevant to their duties. However, having a good understanding of food safety practices is not only a legal requirement, but also essential in protecting the health of both consumers and food handlers.
The Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those working, or planning to work, in the food catering industry. It is also ideal for those who come into contact with food handling areas due to the nature of their work, such as pest control officers and delivery personnel.
